I want icecream!

I was soo frustrated with someone earlier today, I almost cried. I just hate it kapag nakikipag-usap ka naman ng maayos tas wala kang makuhang maayos na response. I was already upset then sasagutin ka pa ng implied threat. Na I don't think I even deserve. It's nothing serious, just some work related shit stuff na ikina-stress ko ng bongga..

Good thing, I got something in the mail that made me smile. Segue queen? Lol. Thank you Mommy Joy for this card. You're so so sweet. I wonder kung saan naligaw yun first card pero sana dumating pa din siya.

Speaking of EB..

Zaicy, Arline and me met up with Marge and Rhoda of Scarlet Schmarlet yesterday. Meeting place was at Ayala Triangle at 5pm. Pero dahil excited kami ni Zaicy at wala ang expected na traffic, 4pm pa lang e nasa Ayala Museum na kami.

Nakakahiyang magpa-picture. Everyone was looking at me with a "Duh, So probinsiya?!" look on their faces. Pero dahil first time ko to, dedma!

Since it was early pa, nakapaglibot pa kami ni bff Zaicy sa Glorietta 5. At may nakita kaming kuyang gwapo. He looked so cute with his gray coat over a plain white shirt outfit. Akala namin ni Zaicy e korean siya, pero nun dumaan ulet kami para magpa-pansin, we overheard him na nag-tagalog. Dahil may time pa at baliw kaming dalawa, tumambay talaga kami kung san andun si kuya. Siyempre investigate muna kami kung straight ba or gay para alam namin kung sinong may chance no! At wagi ako. Lalaki e. Haha, kaso it's time to go na. Sayangs! I hate goodbyes. Charot.

Anyways, we went to 8065 Coffeeshop. It's a small cafe and it's easy to tell that whoever owns the place is a child at heart.

We had bagnet for dinner. There are a few varieties of bagnet - in spicy gata, binagoongan, kare-kare, etc. We also shared a plate of pesto pasta.

Enough of gluttony.. It was fun to see these two beautiful girls. Marge was totally hot in her mini skirt and high-heeled boots. She's pretty sa picture but a lot prettier in person. Mukhang doll. Pero nagulat ako sa voice nya. Ang high pitched, haha. Si Rhoda naman ay na-meet ko na before sa aming La Union trip. She's my bestfriend's friend who happened to be Marge's officemate. Small world no?!

They're both very nice and friendly. And what I love most about this EB e since all girls kami, we can talk about anything. Even about boys.

Bitin ang chikahan moment naten. I hope maituloy naten ang bonding sa PBO Bazaar this Feb 24th. Segue ulet. Haha.

Hello everyone! How's your 2013 so far? 

Hindi na ko nakapag-share ng New Year's Eve dito sa bahay. We all just had a simple media noche. Wala rin ako ma-share na pictures ng fireworks o outside happening kasi takot ako lumabas habang nagpuputukan. I always have this strange feeling na tatamaan ako ng ligaw na bala. As you know, I got shot nun bata pa ko and I feel like wala ng second chances, na ikamamatay ko na yun kung sakali.

In-enjoy ko na lang pagkain ng lechon manok. Sarap. Dinedma ko yung ibang handa. And nope, hindi kami naniniwala na lilipad ang swerte pag may handang manok. :)

Yesterday, we had breakfast with our former teammate, Andie. Parang despedida na rin kasi flight niya na ngayon to Riyadh for work. Una, kumain kami sa Bossing Grill. Tocilog saken at litsilog for the rest of the beks. Tapos na kami kumain nun dumating ang always late na si Andie with his girlfriend, Faith.

Two days na lang at PBO na! Excited na kami ni Zaicy! Kayo??

I'm almost done sa pag-giftwrap sa books na ibibigay naten sa kids. Na-enjoy ko to. Bigyan nyo pa ko ng ibabalot, dali! :)

Anyways, dun sa mga nahihiya na pumunta na ang reason ay wala daw maibibigay sa mga bata, you have to remember na ang mga kids for sure matutuwa sa food at sa mga gifts, pero more than that mas in need sila ng affection, mostly just want to be held. Or hugged, maybe. Kaya ang presence mo will be more than enough. Wag na ring ma-pressure o mahiya pa.. Taralets! :D

Capture the Colour!

It's Thursday and I'm off from work, yey! I was blog hopping earlier and I found out that Mhie of Travelentz tagged me in her post about the "Capture the Colour Photo Contest". Like what I told her, I do not have an eye for photography so I am not joining this contest, hihi.. Her entry is real great though, and I really hope she wins the £2000 (tas hihingi ako ng balato, lol).

But I thought it was a good idea to do this too, not for the contest, but just for fun! And it was indeed fun to browse thru my old photos, I mostly laughed but got a little senti too! :)

These are gifts to my teammates on Christmas of 2009! I so love gift wrapping, one of the best things that I enjoy during the Yuletide season. These are just cheap items like slippers and mugs but as the saying goes.. It's the thought that counts!

The slippers that I wore didn't bother to wear in the sands of Boracay. I wrote a brief story about this trip in Beach 1-2-3!

I'm wearing a friend's wedding gown! With Mauee as my make-up artist and Zaicy as the photographer, we had a mini bridal pictorial. But most people said that I look more of a debutant than a bride, haha! This was one of the candid shots, a.k.a. Avril Lavigne peg!

This was taken at the office game room. If I remember it right, we were still on day shift then and we got a little bored while on lunch so we played with the bean bags!

Wala lang talaga ako sa mood lately dahil.. wala lang.. topak lang nga.. Alam mo na, minsan ang hormones e malakas maka-aning talaga, hahaha!

Nagbabasa nga rin pala ako ng ebook ng Shades of Grey! Tapos ko na Book2. Pero less likely na gawan ko ng review dahil simple lang naman ang story, na-spice up lang ng mga umaatikabong churvahan.. Na-curious lang ako dahil masyado siya in demand lately.

At may movie date din ako with Zaicy and Empi bukas. Panuorin namin ang The Healing. Pero hindi ko pa napanuod ang Dark Knight, Ice Age 4 at ang showing na rin na Brave, hay..

Morning Convo!

It's Friday! And Friday is Lakwatsa Day! I had 12 hours of sleep last night and I was starving when I woke up. My last meal was my late lunch yesterday around 2pm.

I went to the kitchen and saw that Chin is already having her breakfast.  I saw Mama lying in the couch  (there's just a TV cabinet that separates our kitchen from the sala) so I sat beside her and hugged her (Yeah, at my age, I still often go to my mom to cuddle). I didn't notice that Chin was looking at me.

Chin: Tita, e bakit andyan ka kay Mama?!

Me: E siyempre, mama ko siya!

Mama: Siyempre, baby ko si Tita! E ikaw sino mama mo?

Chin: E di ikaw! Kaw mama ko!

Me: Inggitera!!

Chin has school today and as usual she is excited about it, especially that today is PE day! Ofcourse, never will a day pass that I don't get a maldita answer from my sweet little pamangkin..

Me: Ano ginagawa nyo pag PE?

Chin: E di nag-eexercise!! 

After eating, I went back to my room and went online. My mom often goes to my room to check out on me.. I was looking at facebook news feed and I saw weird looking shoes with super high heels!

Me: Ang kulet ng mga shoes!

Mama: Pano kaya pag ikaw nagsuot nyan? Malamang tumbling ka na naman. Sobrang flats nga e nadadapa ka pa! 

Me: Ang sama mo..

My sister-in-law just asked me to watch over my Jaydrex while she is getting ready for work. 

Me: Ano ginagawa mo?

Jaydrex: Nana tek pan..

Me: Ha? Ano po?

Jaydrex: Nana tek pan!

Don't ask me what that means because I don't know either! I have 7 nephews and 2 nieces and I never learned baby talk, haha! I would often ask Chin to translate whatever Jaydrex is saying.

Me: Beh, how old are you?

Jaydrex: Two! (but he's showing me 5 fingers, haha!)

Anyways, that's just how my usual morning goes. I will be spending my afternoon in Ace Water Spa with my two bestfriends, Zaicy and Lori! We will then go shopping in Shangri La and SM Memamall! Did I tell you that Friday is Lakwatsa Day?

Random Emotions!

**Upset**

I am so tired.. My TL required us to render an hour of OT for 3 days starting today! That's what we call perfect "haggard" mode! And I am not over reacting.. I mean an hour of OT in the call center industry filled with irate callers and mind boggling issues is equal to tons of stress and equal to more or less PhP100! Definitely not worth it for me.. I'd rather spend that one hour reading blog posts that I truly enjoy..

**Funny**

Sometime a week ago, I had the most embarrassing moment of my life! I'm not really a cellphone addict, I seldom make calls or send texts.. But I have this new friend and I was having fun exchanging text messages with him.. I was going down the stairs and still using my phone, I wasn't looking at the steps. I thought I knew them by heart already, I've been climbing up and down the same stairs for 6 years, and I am just trying to make up excuses for my stupidity, lol..

Okay, I was going down the stairs while texting.. Yeah, I slipped and fell! I was with my 3 friends, and they were shocked when they heard me scream and immediately helped me get up! And guess what? They were all laughing like crazy (okay, I was really funny).. I hurt my right foot and knee.. Ouch!

Plus, it seems like my friends can't get over what happened! They are still teasing me about it! Never will I do that again, lesson learned the hard way, lol..

**Excited**

My 4 year old niece, Chin-chin, started schooling last Monday! She's been wanting to go to school since she was 2! I used to buy her activity books so she can practice reading and writing. She was so excited and was already dressed by 7am when her classes start at 8am (her school is 5mins away from home!). 

After an hour and a half, she went back home and said, "Tita, I'll show you something!". She got a star stamped on her hand! She was so happy, she got her first star in her first day of school! I am just so proud of my malditang pamangkin, haha!

Chin ran into my room and shouted "Tita, school na ko!"

And I said, "Magsuklay ka muna!"

 

**Sad**

 

I read a post from a friend way back in college that made me really sad. Her son died of septic shock. I almost cried reading her words. It really broke my heart. How painful is it to see your sweet little angel that you've carried in your womb for 9 months die before your eyes? I just can't imagine how terrible she feels right now. And I know, there's nothing I can say to make her feel any better. All I can do now is pray for her, and her baby.. :(
