At dahil dito nagsimula ang ELF, we all decided to attend the event. At mas na-excite ako dahil sa.. "If you're single, be ready to mingle".. Chos!
Dumaan sina Rio at Joana sa house ng maaga para makapagpaganda muna kami. Pinilit namin si Joana na mag-dress at nagpapilit naman siya! Nabadtrip tuloy si Lori and her famous line is.. "Sino ba naman ang gustong mag-mukhang tanga na siya lang ang naka-jeans at naka-dress lahat ng kasama niya.. blah blah blah.." Pag naka-jeans mukhang tanga agad, hindi pwedeng wala lang dress? hahaha!

We then went to Red Ribbon to buy a cake as pasalubong and to wait for Stacy. Smart casual ang attire sa party at pauso ng batch dos (kami yun!) na mag-eyeglasses.

We then met up with couples Nic and Mic and
Pag dating, pinuntahan agad namin sina Kuya Arnel at Ate Lisa na parang mga hindi tumatanda! They own the store across the school. Dun kami kumakain at tumatambay dati. Dun din ako nakikipaglaro ng hide-and-seek sa anak nilang si Joshua. At inaanak ko rin ang bunso nilang si Jeremiah who was just two years old nun nag-graduate kami.

Hinanap ko din sina Nanay at Tatay (ni Kuya Arnel) dahil super close din ako sa kanila. Hug ko agad si Nanay pati si Tatay, tapos kamustahan to the max! Katawa si Tatay, after kong chumika sa kanya, tinanong niya sina Lori, "Asan si Joanne?". Hindi pala ako nakilala, hehe.. Pero touched pa rin ako kasi hinanap niya talaga ko!
Sinundo na kami ni Engineer-Manager-Batch Dos Salutatorian Rowie para makapag-register na dahil na sa kanya tickets namin.. By the way, Rowie came in early in prep for the event dahil member siya ng Publicity Committee ng Alumni Board of Trustees (ni-research ko pa yan ah, haha!).
Good thing, Rowie was able to take pictures of our school nun maaga pa! This picture made me all nostalgic.. reminded me of the 9 years or so ago when we were referred to as the "Scholars ng Bayan".. this is the quadrangle where we used to sing the National Anthem, Rizal Mabuhay and RISCI hymn every morning.. and where we attended several acquaintance parties, disco balls and ofcourse, the JS Prom!

Enough of the drama, lol. The night was filled with trivia and speeches.. And music and dancing!
It was fun seeing our teachers again! And they too are not getting old! May fountain of youth ata sa RISCI e..

| Madam Gondra noon-Madam Gutierrez na ngayon- Social Studies Teacher - Class Adviser ko nun First Year I can never forget nun nagalit siya sa section namin nun 3rd year dahil dinaya namin yun exam para sa assessment niya - we wanted to make sure na mataas yun mark nya - pero mas pinili nya ipa-retake yun exam samen, sabi nya hindi niya kailangan ng mataas na score kung hindi naman siya magiging proud dahil hindi totoong reflection yun ng performance nya! A real honest and sincere teacher! |

But ofcourse, the highlight of the event was the reunion of old friends and batchmates! Some even came with their partners. Andami nagsabi na pumayat daw ako.. so chubby pala ako dati?

The night ended with a fabulous display of fireworks! Napa-wow talaga ako! Thank you to the Pioneer Batch and to all officers of the Alumni Association for making this event a success and really intense! Job well done!
And thank you RISCI for all the wonderful memories, the lessons learned.. and siyempre pa sa pagkakabuo ng EverLastingFriends! ♥

Since halloween ngayon, why not watch the featured ghost story ng RISCI sa Saksi? Dati kasing sementeryo ang RISCI, at hindi yun chismis lang.. dahil nun first year pa lang kami, habang ginagawa pa yun ibang classroom building, e nakita pa namin yun mga lumang nitso at tira-tirang buto sa school grounds!
