Kilig!

May crush ako sa office. Ay mali.. crush pala siya ni Zaicy. Ng matagal na panahon na. Kahit nun may girlfriend pa siya, patay na patay na si Zai sa kanya. Ibang level kasi ang ka-fresh-an (rosy cheeks siya, daig pa ko) at kagwapuhan (lalo na sa personal) at kasexyhan (laki ng arms, di ba Zai?) niya.

At hindi lang si bff Zaicy ang nangangarap na maging jowa nya. Pati ang milyun-milyong (exxag?!) kababaihan at kabaklaan sa office, kasama ang isa pang beki friend kong si Kim na malandi. Oo, malandi siya. Nun hindi pa kami close sa kanya dati, galit na galit si Zaicy sa kanya. Bakit? Ang cheap daw kasi. Bakit ulet? Kasi nilapitan niya si crush at hiningi ang cp number. O di ba malandi?

Deadma lang naman ako dati kasi may gf nga, di ba? Pero ngayon single na ang lolo mo. Ilang months na rin ata. Malay ko kung bakit naging single, hindi naman ako chismosa at pakialamera sa buhay ng iba.

Ewan ko kung paanong nag-start na i-bugaw ako ni June kay crush. Si June, remember? Yun baklang maganda na parang white lady sa kaputian? Hindi siya nakiki-agaw kay crush kasi in a happy relationship ang ate mo. Sa ganda nya kasi napabaliko nya yung isang straight guy na officemate din namin dati, three years na ata sila, taray di ba? At chinismis ko pa talaga si June, no?

So ayun nga, binubugaw ako ni June, hehe. Bakit bugaw? Wala ako maisip na ibang term e, haha. Nagsimula ang pambubugaw para asarin si Kim na walang ginawa araw-araw kundi landiin si crush. Ipinakilala saken si crush at ibinigay ang cp number ko at sinabing i-text ako. 

So nag-text nga saken si crush ng "hi babes :)". Kinilig ang mga bakla, nagtilian sa floor, kaloka! At dahil shy type ako, wala ako ibang nasabi kundi "hello babes :)". Nasundan pa yun ng "goodnight babes" na sinagot ko lang din ng "goodnight ___". At hindi na ako nagtext pa ulet, pakipot kasi ako, charot!

Pero siyempre kilig to the max ako nun. Sino bang hindi kikiligan sa kuya mo e ang gwapo lalo na pag nag-smile! Nagtext pa ako kay Zaicy kung kakamuhian niya ba ako kung mamahalin ko siya. Very ahas kasi ang dating ko di ba?haha.. Sabi naman ni Zaicy e hindi daw, maiinggit lang daw siya pero she ("she" kasi babae si Zai, ok?) will be happy for me.

Dapat lang naman, di ba? Sa dinami-rami ba naman ng mga naging crush namin ni Zaicy, e parating siya ang wagi! Paano ba naman, ang hirap na malaman ngayon kung straight or gay ang mga lalaki lalo na pag sa fb/blog lang nakita or pag di pa nakausap. Pero pag nakilala na ng personal, ayan na at tutunog na ang gaydar, at confirmed! Si Zai ang type, wahaha! Buti na lang straight si crush, hehe!

Anyways, may mahadera (a term I got from Marge,hehe..) pa rin naman akong kaibigan na kumokontra sa pag-iibigan namin, chos nachos burritos! Pero best in push pa rin si June at nun last day ay pinilit niyang picturan kaming dalawa. Hindi gaanong photogenic ang kuya mo, pero wag ng choosy!

Ayan ang pic na nipost pa talaga ni June sa fb! Sabi nya kung maka-100 likes daw e ibig sabihin bagay kami. Pati si Pinkline naki-like, natawa talaga ako! Pati si Kulapitot at shumag-anak ng bexchina key, kalurkay! Pero I don't think na aabot siya ng 100 likes. Dapat kasi 10 likes lang para pasok sa banga, haha..

Siyempre, joke lang ang lahat ng to. Kinikilig lang ako, bakit ba?! Masarap lang kilig-in ulet.

Scam!

I received a phone call from someone (a lady whom I forgot the name, grrr..) from a certain AsiaGlobal company. I have been receiving calls from her number these past few days but I failed to pickup until today.

At first, I thought she was a representative from my credit card bank. She claims that their company is connected with Visa/Mastercard. She said she will be sending me a VIP travel discount card. I hate sales calls so to cut the conversation short, I just said yes to everything she's saying. She said that the discount card will give me 20% to 40% discount to different hotels here and abroad. She said that the card is FREE.. that there will be no monthly charges, no annual renewal fee, and that it is transferable and can be used by anyone in my family..

She was even building rapport asking if I've been to Boracay and if I want to stay at La Carmela Boracay and I said no. I was not suspicious at all because she sounded so legit. She knows a lot of info about me.. my full name, landline number, my address.. I'm surprised she didn't know my relationship status, chos!

The conversation started sounding scam-y when she asked me if I'm at home because they will deliver the card in two hours.. I'm like, "two hours..that fast?!"

Me: Can't my mom just receive it for me? (I don't know why I asked since I am really at home)
Her:  Hindi po. Kayo po dapat mag-receive, ma'am.
Me: And why is that?
Her: Bale yun card po kasi ninyo ay may one time charge na PhP3995. Pwede nyo po siya gawing installment na 12 months so PhP332 blah blah blah..
Me: PhP3995? That's expensive. Sige na.. 

I'm getting tired of the conversation. I was thinking that they will send the card and then I have a choice if I want to activate and pay for it.

Her: Punta na po diyan yun mag-deliver at i-transact po sa harap nyo yun payment. 
Me: What?!

I just can't believe what she's saying. She wants me to pay for the discount card when the delivery guy arrives, she's not giving me enough time to even think about it or to research about the company at all.

Her: I-transact po yun payment so please be ready with your credit card. Pwede po kayong mamili kung ilang months installment blah blah blah
Me: No, cancel it.
Her: Hindi na po pwede i-cancel ma'am kasi na-endorse na po kayo samen ng Visa Mastercard blah blah blah
Me: Well, you can send that delivery guy today but I won't let him use my card. Bye.

Taray no! I got so irritated by that phone call. No doubt, it's a scam. But what really is puzzling me right now is the thought that they have all my personal info that only my credit card company is supposed to know! I care too much about my privacy so I don't just give out personal info to anyone I don't know. Even my address and contact numbers are not posted in my FB account except for close friends and family. I'm beginning to have doubts about the security and confidentiality of my info in these banks, hmp!


**I researched about this and found a similar post here. She said the name of the company is FinAsiaGlobal. I may have heard the lady incorrectly.

Lunch Time..

About two weeks ago, I received a chat message from by friend Rica asking me to have lunch with her and Joana on the 20th. I thought we won't push thru with it until last Friday when Rica sent me a confirmation message. 

And then I asked Rica, "What time?". She replied, "Lunch time?" 

"What time ang lunch?haha.." 

"Hahaha.. 12."

And I joked and told her that sometimes lunch could be at 3pm!

And hey, I was right! Haha.. 

I woke up Saturday morning around 5am. Come 10am, I was feeling really sleepy but I had to fight it because I need to prepare for my lunch date. I was running a bit late but I was not able to text the two because I didn't have load for my prepaid phone. Purita amor, right? I left home few minutes past 12nn, passed by a nearby store to buy load, and rode the bus bound to Robinsons Galleria.

I received the prepaid load almost around 1pm. I texted the two and asked them if they're there or if they're on their way. No replies. I thought they may just be busy strolling around the Mall. I arrived and texted them again. Still no reply. 

We were supposed to go to Megamall and eat at Pepper Lunch. But I decided to stay in Galleria while waiting for their texts. I went window shopping and looked for shoes. I received a text from Rica around 2pm saying she's still at home and was waiting for Joana's message. And then I received a text from Joana saying she's also at home with a weird question.. "why?"

Apparently, Rica texted the old number of Joana, and Joana had no idea that we are to pursue with the plan! Rica was apologetic though, she said she'll be on her way. I had the feeling that she just woke up, haha! She worked the night before so I understood. And Joana said she'll still come but she had to prep first.

At first, I got annoyed. Eventually, I was just laughing at myself. Well, I missed my two college bestfriends so it was not really the best time for some non-sense fight, right? I decided to just enjoy myself while waiting. I thought I could watch a movie but there was none that fits my timeframe. So I just strolled a bit more and went to Saizen to check out cute Japanese stuff. And then I wanted to eat ice cream at DQ but it was jam-packed. I had McFlurry and McFloat instead at where else but McDonalds..

To cut the story short, Rica and Joana arrived almost 4pm. I still wanted to watch a movie so we had a quick brainstorming of what to watch - Taken 2, Pitch Perfect or This Guy's In Love with you Mare.  Taken 2 won with two votes, mine and Rica's! We were laughing at Joana because we thought she didn't want to watch a movie but she arrived with a bag of popcorn!

After the movie, we ate at Papa John's Pizza.  We had the 9" Super Papa's pizza, complete with the pepperoncini and the garlic sauce, and Penne Meatball Bolognaise.

I couldn't stay any longer since I have work at 7pm that night. Sad! And these two have more time to bond, unfair! They should give me a treat next time, right?

Lesson Learned: Lunch time is no longer the usual 12nn. I should know that already! Why? Because I've been working for 6 years at a BPO company and our one hour break which could be anytime.. may it be 9pm or 12mn or 3am.. is called LUNCH! :D

When I started working in 2006, my goal was to save enough money to have our house renovated because it's getting too small for our growing family. Saving was tough since I am also my family's breadwinner. But I am so thankful I was able to accomplish it last 2009. I was able to buy the small lot adjacent to our old home so we got bigger space now. Then had our then wooden house scrapped and built a now concrete house. Plus I have my own bedroom now! Home sweet home! :D 
2. How do you spend your free time? Sleeping, eating, shopping with family and friends
3. To date, what has been your worst disappointment in life? My life isn't perfect but I can't think of any right now.
4. If you could start all over in life, would you change anything? Nope.

Somethin' Fishy!

A few years back, me and my former teammates had buffet breakfast in Somethin' Fishy in Eastwood.. Twice, we ate there. Twice, I got disappointed. I used to say that the resto should have been called "Somethin' Oily"  because their food were way too oily like the hotdogs, tapa, tocino, etc. and even the pancakes!

But recently, I saw Lori's post when she and her friends ate in this resto. And I thought that the food looks more appetizing now than it was before. So I said, why not give Somethin' Fishy a second chance?

So after shift last Sunday, Zaicy and me went to Transcom to meet Lori so we can all eat there. Praning pa kami ni Zaicy na sumakay ng Fx, medyo nauuso na naman kasi holdapan, so we made sure na hindi kolorum yun nasakyan namin, at walang kahina-hinalang sakay bukod sa aming dalawa, hehe.

The Midnight to Morning Buffet costs Php169 during weekdays and PhP179 on weekends. If I remember it right, around PhP120 lang to dati.

Not bad, no? Nasulit ko naman ang bayad dahil marami-rami din ako nakain. Takaw much na talaga ako ngayon.. 

Dahil super busog na ko nun pauwi, sobrang inantok ako. I had to constantly remind myself that I was in a jeepney and I can't sleep kung ayaw kong (a). madukutan (b). mabiktima ng manyak or (c). lumampas sa babaan! It helps din pala paminsan ang mga negative thoughts kasi effective naman, hindi ako natulog.

At sana naman sa level ng kain at tulog ko ngayon e tumaba na ako ng konti!

Last Saturday was the trio birthday celebration of Rowie, Rio and Zaicy! Meeting place sa house namin para makapag-color ng buhok na theme ng celebration. I'm surprised na nagkasya ang 10 tao sa room ko..

Official ride namin si Sylvia, ang karu ni Mic. Derecho na kami sa Libis dahil sa Dampa kami mag-dinner at mag-celebrate!

Alam nyo naman ang peg sa dampa no? Mamalengke muna saka magpaluto.. Pero hindi kaming girls ang namalengke, um-aura lang kami para mag-picture. Sa ELF, boys ang masisipag sa mga gawaing pambabae, hehe..

At kahit lasing-lasingan mode na, ang ganda ko pa rin no! Oh bawal ang negative reaction, sasampahan ko ng libel agad agad!

Siyempre, hindi pa din tapos ang celebration. Nagpunta pa kami kina Lori to watch movies! Ang pinanuod namin? The Orphan at Insiduous! Nakaka-stress at nakakapagod panuorin si The Orphan, at nakakakilabot naman si man with fire on his face ng Insiduous! At kaloka pa nun pag-uwi ko, may shadow ng babae dun sa window ng bahay ni Tita ko! Ano, sinundan ako? Buti na lang at umaga na at gising na si Mama. :D

Last Thursday naman, nag-invite si Zaicy na pumunta sa Antipolo para ma-try namin ang cakes ng Cherish Bakeshop! 

After shift namin ng 4am, go na kami sa Mcdo Antipolo for breakfast. Then, tambay mode muna kina Zaicy kasi 10am pa mag-open yun bakeshop. Ayaw nila ako patulugin, antok na antok pa naman ako, hehe.. Parang ambilis lang din naman ng oras, gow na kami sa Victory Mall kung san kami mag-food trip!
