EB at Coffee!

It started out sa chikahan namin ni Zai sa office about our blogger friends. Minsan, napagkwentuhan namin si Arline from Pinkline. Sabi ni Zai, nalurkey daw siya sa comment ni Arline about "felix" sa post nya. Natawa na lang ako, sabi ko sa kanya, makulet talaga yun... blah blah blah..

Then last week, sabi ko kay Zai na i-meet namin si Arline. Agad agad na nag-schedule kami ng EB for Sat. Nag-tweet ako kay sis at super excited ako nun sumagot siya na keri boom boom dahil free din siya that day. At sabi ko na isama nya din ang kanyang bff na si Hash ng Hash Coffee Table Book.

So last Saturday nga e naganap ang EB. Super traffic na naman sa may Ortigas Ave Extension dahil sa mga ginagawang sidewalks at sa trial ng new traffic scheme, kaya almost 3pm na kami nakadating ni Zaicy. 

Meeting place namin sa TCB Shangri-La Mall. Nag unlimited cakes and coffee kami, reg rate is PhP200, pero PhP150 lang pag na-like na yun FB Page nila. 

Few minutes later e dumating na din si Arline. More chika agad kami. Nakakatuwa na parang antagal na namin magkakakilala, wala ng hiya hiya. Then dumating na din si Hash at tuloy lang ang chika.

Sumunod din sa EB si Empi. May climb siya dapat sa Mt. Maculot pero sinabi ko na babagyo at di sila matutuloy, at nag-dilang anghel ako kaya nakasama siya samin. Ang bad ko no? haha..

Eto yun mga kinain namin while tuloy tuloy ang kuwentuhan, asaran at tawanan.

Naka-tatlong cups of brewed coffee kami ni Zai at Arline. Ang effect pala ng sobrang kape ay same lang pag nalalasing ka, nakakahilo!

Highlight ng event ang pamali-maling manager ng TCB na na-lost in space nun pauwi na kami, at ang pagwagi ko ng "mapagpatol" award dahil naniwala ako kay Hash na merong eggpie.

We had so much fun meeting you two! And I look forward to our next gala! ♥

Capture the Colour!

It's Thursday and I'm off from work, yey! I was blog hopping earlier and I found out that Mhie of Travelentz tagged me in her post about the "Capture the Colour Photo Contest". Like what I told her, I do not have an eye for photography so I am not joining this contest, hihi.. Her entry is real great though, and I really hope she wins the £2000 (tas hihingi ako ng balato, lol).

But I thought it was a good idea to do this too, not for the contest, but just for fun! And it was indeed fun to browse thru my old photos, I mostly laughed but got a little senti too! :)

These are gifts to my teammates on Christmas of 2009! I so love gift wrapping, one of the best things that I enjoy during the Yuletide season. These are just cheap items like slippers and mugs but as the saying goes.. It's the thought that counts!

GREEN

Notes and stick figures made by one of my bestfriends, Nic of Tropang Ina during the slumber party in our It's more fun in Baguio City trip. See that girl dozing off in the drawing? That's me, haha.

YELLOW

The slippers that I wore didn't bother to wear in the sands of Boracay. I wrote a brief story about this trip in Beach 1-2-3!

WHITE

I'm wearing a friend's wedding gown! With Mauee as my make-up artist and Zaicy as the photographer, we had a mini bridal pictorial. But most people said that I look more of a debutant than a bride, haha! This was one of the candid shots, a.k.a. Avril Lavigne peg!

RED

This was taken at the office game room. If I remember it right, we were still on day shift then and we got a little bored while on lunch so we played with the bean bags!

Since, this is not an official entry, I am breaking the rules and adding my favorite color! *wink*

Bakit? Paki-explain.

88lbs? Seriously? 

Nagtimbang ako kanina. Obviously bonggang underweight ako.. Why oh why, e ang takaw ko naman?? Grrr... Stressed o kailangan ko lang mag-deworm? lol. Madalas pa nga na ako nagyayaya kay Zaicy na kumain kaya nasisira ang plano nya na mag-diet. Bakit ganun??

For example, nun last Thursday, yinaya ko si Zai mag-breakfast sa Red Ribbon. Super excited ako kumain nun tiramisu cake. Siyempre, nakunan ni paparazzai ang natatakam look ko!

And we had our favorite salisbury steak. Secret lang naten, naka-dalawang ganyan si Zai, haha.

A day after nyan, food trip naman kami sa Antipolo. With June, Kim, Baby Faye and Zaicy ofcourse. Dapat kakain ulet kami sa Hanoel pero under renovation pa rin pala sila.

A day after ulet, post birthday celebration naman ni Lori. Nawili kami sa El Pedro's Grill so dun ulet kami kumain.

The Complete Gang!

After ng swimming, go kami sa El Pedro's Grill para magpakabusog at magpakalashing. Naikuwento ko na ang resulta ng kalasingan ko sa previous post ko so there. Haha, nonsense na naman ako.

Anyways, sino nga ba ang may birthday today?? Well, ang ubod ng ganda at nuknukan ng kaseksihan at binobola naten sya dahil nga bday nya.. No other than, ang babaeng nilunod ng napaka-charming nyang anak sa pool..

Happy Happy Birthday my dear friend. I love you so so much! Wala ng drama drama baka maiyak pa tayo, basta more blessings and more birthdays to come! Mwaah..

Hindi ako lashing!

Paminsan-minsan, ang sarap malasing no? Hindi yun lasing na lasing. Yun tipsy lang. Yung tamang kulet lang. Yun puro kayo kalokohan tapos tatawa ka lang ng tatawa sa mga nonsense na bagay. Yun tipong maalala mo pa un mga kabobohan na ginawa mo tas matatawa ka na lang ulet.

Sabi ko pa, "hindi  ako lasing!". Ayoko pa magpahatid sa bahay e. Pero hinatid pa din ako ni Rowie. Tas nun naglalakad pasakay ng tricycle, tumingin siya sa relo nya, tas sabi nya "maaga pa". Tas tumingin din ako sa wrist ko. At naisip ko "sh*t, wala ako relo!". At never naman ako nag-relo. So yun tinanggap ko na na lasing nga ako. Ng konti, haha.

Derecho na ko sa kwarto ko. Higa agad sa kama. Nakakahilo. Take note, 2 tanduay ice lang nainom ko! Dalawa lang talaga unless tama yun hinala ko na may nagdagdag dun sa iniinom ko. Kung tama yun, ang bad nyo, lol.

In fairness, enjoy naman. Lalo na kung stressed ka. Yun pag andaming maliliit na problema tas nagkasabay sabay at nagkasama sama, isang major stress factor na. Mas stressed pa kesa sa trending na hitsura ni Charice sa X Factor, na ni-compare kay chaka doll este kay bride of Chuckie ata yun. Sino nga ba nagpakita saken nun pic na yun?

Oh, hindi ako lasinggera! Very seldom ako uminom. At birthday lang ni Lori kaya we needed to celebrate. At remember, pag medyo tuliro ako, extraordinary ang lakas ko sa pagkain. Kumakain ako ng pork budbod (fried rice topped with pork) kasabay ng hawaiian pizza. Pareho kasi masarap, nalito ko kung ano unahin, kaya pinagsabay ko.

Sa El Pedro's Grill pala kami kumain. At masarap yun food. Especially, yun pizza. Maniwala ka na masarap dahil lasing yun nagsasabi, haha. Pero masarap siya talaga, promise! Naalala ko kasi dun yun favorite kainan namin sa Antipolo dati na nagsara na.

Bago pala kami nagpunta sa resto, nagswimming muna kami. Ang itim ko na, grabe na to. Tatlong layer na tan lines ko. Hahaha, naalala ko yun mga nagsi-swimming sa pool na naka-hooded jacket at hat. Lakas maka-laughtrip, haha.

Inaantok na ako kaya next time ko na ikuwento yun swimming namin. Antok naman na ko talaga kanina pa, tas naisip ko magpopost ako kasi baka makalimutan ko na bukas, tas ngayon naman antok na ko ulet. Gulo no? Pero I'm sure na na-gets mo kaya good night na! Mmwah!

Brave!

I have been wanting to watch Brave ever since I first saw its trailer months ago. I was supposed to watch it with Zaizai yesterday, but it was not shown in SM Taytay. The "huge" SM Taytay has only 3 cinemas, 2 of them are showing Bourne Legacy and the other is Sadako, the 3rd sequel of The Ring.

I felt I was already "brave" enough to watch Sadako after surviving my first horror movie. But Zai warned me that Japanese horror films would be 100x more frightening than The Healing so I backed out. Instead, we went on a pig-out day.

I arrived in SM right after Zai has devoured his Jollibee Spaghetti. We strolled a little and then decided to eat lunch in French Baker.  I have been craving for seafood pasta so I had their Spicy Seafood Marinara. It was really yummy except for being a little too spicy that made me a bit teary eyed, lol. I still loved it though. Zaicy had Chicken Parmigiana which I think is also good because he was able to finish it no time.

After our pasta meals, we then went to DQ for their uber famous blizzard. And then to Red Ribbon for a slice of cake each, haha! Gluttony-for-a-day was actually my idea and again, I caused Zai to break his diet. Sorry bff! I eat a lot whenever I'm stressed out.

Anyways, that was yesterday. Earlier today, I met up with a college friend named Chay. Zai and Chay, cute names no? I haven't seen Chay for like 6 years but it didn't feel like it. We talked about a lot of things. He said that I haven't changed much, except for my braces, and the fact that I now talk a lot, haha.

I haven't had enough of pasta so I ate Lasagna in Pizza Hut. He had Fettuccine Alfredo. It's fun to reminisce college days over delish food and bottomless iced tea. 

We watched Brave after. I've seen negative reviews about Brave online but personally I loved it. Though the characters' accent was a bit odd, I didn't have any problem understanding them, it actually sounded cute to me. Is it Irish? I don't know.

The boys and Merida

It featured a control freak mom-slash-queen and her stubborn-I-want-my-freedom-I-don't-want-to-marry daughter and the curse that they broke thru love, of course. I love Merida's 3 little baby brothers who turned into cute little...oops! No spoilers.

Plus I also missed Archery in this film. Which reminds me that Gandiva currently have discounted vouchers for lessons and food in beeconomic.

My brain is dead empty right now and I don't even know how to end this post so I'll just say bye.. for now.

Pak na pak!

Ang blush-on ko kahapon! Haha.. Magkikita kami ni Zai sa Robinsons Galleria kahapon para manuod ng Brave, at later ay manuod ng The Healing with Empi. Pagsakay ko palang sa bus, alam ko ng tinitingnan na ko ng cast, bongga kasi ang blush-on ko. Trying to achieve an Anne Curtis look kasi, kaya nag-nude lipistik ako. Ang ganda ko, grabe! Chocnut! Kinilabutan ka sa confidence level ko no? Pero dahil blog ko to, wala kang magagawa.

OA ang traffic kahapon.  Nasa magkahiwalay na bus kami ni Zai, pero parang naghahabulan kami at may time na nag-abot pa kaya kaway-kaway kami sa isa't isa. At kahit mag-isa ako sa bus ko, todo smile ako. Maya maya, may estudyante sa ibang bus na kumakaway din saken, natawa na lang ako. Tas may koya na pahinante ng truck na kumaway din saken twice, nahiya na ko. Balik suplada look na.

Hindi na kami umabot sa sched showing ng Brave, kaya Ice Age 4 na lang watch namin ni Zai. Gutom kami pareho kay nagtake-out kami sa mcdo. Talented si Zai, kumain ng spag sa loob ng sinehan.

Enjoy ang Ice Age, ang dame naming tawa. Favorite character namin yun lola ni Sid at ang kanyang "imaginary" friend na si Precious. May lovelife na si Diego, buti pa siya, char! Ang favorite line ko sa movie ay "You never leave a friend behind".

First time kong nanood ng horror sa sinehan. Takot kasi ko. Pag nanunuod nga ako ng horror sa bahay, dapat broad daylight at sa sala namin para may kasama. Buti na lang at 2 kasama ko, at ako sa gitna, at may nahihila ako magkabila pag nagugulat, haha!

Pero na-enjoy ko yun movie. Oo, nakakatakot! Pumipikit talaga ako pag sa mga madugong eksena, haha! Pero aliw din siya. May halo din kasi itong comedy, favorite ko naman yun tatay ni Vilma Santos. At katuwa din ang mga kasama namin na audience, very responsive sa pinapanuod, so hindi lang ako ang sumisigaw sa sinehan, haha! Palakpakan pa sila nun natapos na, saya!

After ng movie, nag-ice cream kami sa DQ at nag-picture para may souvenir. And then, bye bye na. Naging mababaw ang tulog ko kagabi, naka-ilang gising ako, takot pa rin si subconscious, haha!

Wala lang talaga ako sa mood lately dahil.. wala lang.. topak lang nga.. Alam mo na, minsan ang hormones e malakas maka-aning talaga, hahaha!

Nagbabasa nga rin pala ako ng ebook ng Shades of Grey! Tapos ko na Book2. Pero less likely na gawan ko ng review dahil simple lang naman ang story, na-spice up lang ng mga umaatikabong churvahan.. Na-curious lang ako dahil masyado siya in demand lately.

At may movie date din ako with Zaicy and Empi bukas. Panuorin namin ang The Healing. Pero hindi ko pa napanuod ang Dark Knight, Ice Age 4 at ang showing na rin na Brave, hay..

Ito na ata pinakamahabang PS, bow! :)
